Seattle Children’s Community Day 2025!

On March 15, I got to attend Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Community Day! There were over 250 fundraisers, corporations, and advocates there. Not only does Community Day showcase and highlight the amazing efforts of the SCH advocacy community, but is an amazing opportunity to connect with others and collaborate.

This year, I got to meet so many amazing advocates, hear their work and stories, and share my mission as well! It was empowering to hear Hailee’s (SCH Patient Ambassador) story; it was an amazing reminder of the power of perseverance, community, and why we do what we do! It was also great to meet the Hope, Care, Cure winners and hear about the amazing work they did this year.

Sharing CanSER’s mission was also a huge success! Within 2 hours, we were able to garner 7 more endorsements, bringing us to our monthly goal of 30 total endorsements!!! There are lots of exciting projects in the works… so stay tuned!

Thank you to Kira Haller, Amanda Clark, Claudia Vergara, Katie Berger, Frank Halferty, Tom Hayes, and Bender for endorsing the campaign! Your support means so much, and I can’t wait to continue to work together in the future! Thank you to Eve and Christina for inviting me for Year 3 of Community Day! See you all next year 🙂

If you, too, believe that we need a familiar and trustworthy national system for the emotional support of cancer patients/survivors, endorse today!
